4) Which is better - Fan preference plays a huge roll in this. DC is older and more established and has a huge history to draw on. Until the last 10 years, it also had much better movie representation and animated options. Marvel has come on strong since its purchase by Disney comics. Still struggles a bit with animated, but movies have become huge and really making moves on television.
